📅 Updated: September 2026
Current Cera list: All India MRP Price List No. 62, in effect since 4 May 2026. We compared it line by line with List No. 61 (1 March 2026).
Short answer: Cera raised prices twice in spring 2026. Price List No. 61 came into effect on 1 March 2026 and Price List No. 62 on 4 May 2026. Cera’s management said the two rounds together raised sanitaryware prices by about 12% and faucet prices by about 16%. On wall hung toilets, the cheapest models went up the most: the Cera Carat jumped 31%, from ₹6,100 to ₹7,990.
If a customer walks in with a quote from February or March, the numbers often don’t match anymore. So we went through both official price lists model by model. Below is exactly what changed, what didn’t, and what it means if you’re buying a Cera toilet now.
When Did Cera Increase Prices in 2026?

- 1 March 2026, Price List No. 61: about 4% on sanitaryware and 11% on faucets.
- April 2026, temporary surcharge: about 10% on sanitaryware and 5% on faucets, on top of List 61.
- 4 May 2026, Price List No. 62: the surcharge was replaced by new, permanent MRPs, roughly 8% higher on sanitaryware and 5% higher on faucets.
- Overall, March to May: about 12% on sanitaryware and 16% on faucets, according to Cera’s management.
Why Did Cera Raise Prices?
On its Q4 FY26 earnings call in May 2026, Cera said the increases were mainly to cover higher input costs, especially brass, which is the main metal in taps and faucets. Management said brass prices were up about 29–30% compared with a year earlier. That’s why faucets went up more than toilets and basins.
Cera also said retail buyers saw the full increase straight away, while large project orders were protected for a few months by pre-booked prices.

Which Cera Models Went Up the Most?
The biggest jumps were at the bottom of the range:
- Carat (Carina seat): ₹6,100 → ₹7,990 (+31%)
- Carat with built-in jet: ₹6,600 → ₹8,490 (+29%)
- Cordo: ₹7,150 → ₹8,790 (+23%)
- Crios Square Tankless: ₹25,500 → ₹29,990 (+18%), the biggest rupee increase at ₹4,490
Most mid-range and premium models, like Carlton, Carnival Rimless and Cartier, went up only 3–6%. The result is that the gap between budget and mid-range has shrunk. A Carat with a soft-close seat now costs ₹8,490, while the Carnival Rimless starts at ₹11,500. For about ₹3,000 more, you get a rimless bowl that is much easier to clean.
Which Cera Prices Did Not Change?
- Cosmic (₹14,990) and Crestelle (₹16,490)
- Croma (₹18,990) and Crios Round Tankless (₹25,500), both stock-clearance items
- Carlton Glitz Select in gold, rose gold and platinum (₹27,240)
- Flush knobs: ₹1,760 for shine finish and ₹2,460 for French Gold, Rose Gold and Matte Black
Most coloured models went up about 4–7%, and Glitz Select did not change. See the full list in our guide to matte black, gold and coloured Cera toilet prices.
Concealed Cistern Prices Also Went Up About 5%
A wall hung toilet needs a concealed cistern, so this matters just as much as the toilet price.
| Item | Cat. No. | List 61 MRP (₹) | List 62 MRP (₹) | Change |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chevron concealed cistern with full frame | B1110111 | 11,840 | 12,450 | +5% |
| Chevron concealed cistern with half frame | B1110113 | 9,300 | 9,750 | +5% |
| Chevron cistern only (no frame, no knob) | B1110101 | 5,400 | 5,650 | +5% |
| Flush knob, shine finish (H / M / Q / W) | B1120101–105 | 1,760 | 1,760 | No change |
Put together, a mid-range setup of a Carlton (Duroplast) toilet, a half-frame cistern and a knob went from ₹25,050 to ₹26,200 in MRP. A budget Carat with built-in jet setup went from ₹18,410 to ₹20,500, an 11% rise.
New and Discontinued Models in List 62
- New: Cera Cubica (S1043140), a compact wall hung toilet at ₹8,850 with a slim soft-close seat.
- No longer listed: Clapper (S1043169) and Cadmos (S1044179). If you have either on an old quote, ask us for the closest current model.
What This Means If You’re Buying Now
- Check which price list a quote is based on. A quote from before 4 May 2026 is probably based on List 61.
- Look again at mid-range models. With budget models up 20–30%, rimless models like Carnival are now better value.
- Ask about old stock. Some boxes packed before May may still carry the older MRP.
- Budget for the cistern. It went up too, and it’s often ₹9,750 or more on top of the toilet.
Will Cera Increase Prices Again?
As of September 2026, Cera has not announced a new price list after No. 62. On its May 2026 earnings call, management said it expects price increases to add about 5–6% to sanitaryware growth and about 8% to faucet growth in FY27, mostly from the revisions already made. Brass prices will decide whether faucets go up again. We’ll update this page as soon as a new list comes out.
